StarLeague Ltd.(“We”) handle personal data as follows.

Our services are subject to regulations of various privacy laws in countries, depending on settings.
Therefore, we make reasonable efforts to research the laws and strive to comply with the laws of major countries to the extent possible.

(Purposes)
We collect and process personal data along with the purposes as follows:

  • Information obtained through the Decider service:
    • For service provision, including appropriate user access control such as web authentication.
    • For the maintenance and improvement of the service, including providing technical support and planning feature enhancements.
  • Information of customers:
    • For responding to customer inquiries.
    • For contract-related administrative tasks, including invoicing.
    • For notifying customers about services or related matters.
  • Information regarding our employees and job applicants:
    • For personnel and labor management, as well as employee benefits.
    • For the purpose of recruitment processes.
  • (Limited to Japan) Information obtained through services other than Decider:
    • For providing job opportunities that match the preferences of registered individuals.
    • For conducting entrusted recruitment services.
    • For facilitating training services smoothly.

(Change of purposes)
When we change the purposes above, we will limit it within a reasonable scope and notify through publicly accessible means such as our website.

(Security)
In order to handle personal data appropriately, we establish and maintain organizational and operational procedures, and ensures the security of information systems.
When we entrusts the handling of personal data to a third party, we carefully select a trusted party that is recognized to handle personal data appropriately. We establish necessary provisions regarding the proper management, confidentiality, and prevention of personal data leakage through contracts or agreements, and conduct appropriate supervision.

(Disclosure, correction, or deletion of personal data)
Regarding the personal data held by us, only the individual or their representative may request notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction or deletion of the data, suspension of use, erasure, or cessation of providing to third parties. In order to prevent leakage of personal data or tampering with data, we will require the presentation of materials that allow us to verify the identity of the individual and handle the request according to our procedures. Please note that there may be cases where we cannot fulfill requests for disclosure, correction, or deletion if it hinders our business operations or relates to the records of our business.

Information about personal data in client organizations

Several privacy laws including Japan “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” and EU GDPR require the right to request correction and deletion of personal data.
In many cases, these rights will be subject to partial limitations based on the contractual relationship between the client organization and the user.

The client organization refers to the organization that provides the URL for Decider assessment to the users.

As practical constraints, the following examples can be considered:

  • During the necessary period for recruitment management of the client organization, deletion requests may not be granted.
  • In the case of assessments based on employment, specific disclosure or deletion may not be allowed while the individual is still employed under the applicable employment rules.
  • Data related to evaluation may be non-disclosable based on these rules.

Since we are not aware of the specific contractual relationships, if you wish to request correction or deletion, please contact the client organization directly.

Information relatied to EU GDPR

This information is for individuals residing in the EEA region.

When a client organization requests Decider assessments for recruitment activities or employees and operates in the EEA region, EU GDPR applies.

The personal data collected by Decider is generally used by the client organization for recruitment and organizational purposes, and it may be a contractual requirement between the client organization and the user. The handling of data if you refuse to provide it varies depending on the client organization, but in many cases, it will not be disclosed.
However, it is possible that it may result in adverse decisions in personnel management. We do not have information regarding specific organizations.

The storage period of personal data in Decider is determined by the duration desired by each client organization for their recruitment activities or personnel management.

You have the right to request correction, deletion, data portability, and to object to the handling of your personal data. As mentioned before, these rights may be subject to partial limitations based on the contractual relationship between the client organization and the user.

We handle personal data in Japan. Japanese private enterprises have received adequacy decisions from the EU and the UK.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority regarding the handling of personal data.
